Sally Stanford, born Mabel Busby, was a notable American madam who later transitioned into a successful restaurateur and politician. She operated one of San Francisco's most famous brothels for several decades, becoming a local legend with significant influence. After retiring from her life as a madam, she opened the popular Valhalla restaurant in Sausalito, California.
