Jennifer Capriati is an American former professional tennis player and a member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame. She made her professional debut in 1990 at the age of 13, becoming the youngest-ever semifinalist at the French Open. Capriati won three Grand Slam singles titles and an Olympic gold medal in 1992, eventually reaching the World No. 1 ranking in 2001. After a celebrated comeback in the early 2000s, persistent injuries led to her eventual retirement from the sport.
