Fred L. Turner was a visionary American business executive who played a pivotal role in the global expansion of McDonald's Corporation. Joining the company in 1956 as one of its first employees, he quickly rose through the ranks under the mentorship of founder Ray Kroc. Turner is credited with establishing Hamburger University, the company's international training center, and professionalizing its operational standards. He served as the company's CEO from 1977 to 1987, transforming McDonald's into the world's most successful fast-food chain.
