Paramahansa Yogananda was an Indian Hindu monk, yogi, and guru who introduced millions to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga through his organization, Self-Realization Fellowship. Born Mukunda Lal Ghosh in Gorakhpur, India, he embarked on a lifelong spiritual quest that led him to his guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri. His influential book, "Autobiography of a Yogi," has become a spiritual classic and has been translated into numerous languages, profoundly impacting spiritual seekers worldwide.
