Oscar Robertson

Basketball Player

Oscar Robertson, known as "The Big O," is a retired American basketball player who is widely considered one of the greatest in the sport's history. He famously became the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, a feat he accomplished in 1962. Throughout his 14-season career with the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks, he became a 12-time All-Star and won an NBA championship in 1971. Off the court, his landmark antitrust lawsuit against the NBA paved the way for the league's modern free agency system.
