Moses Malone was a dominant American professional basketball player who played in both the American Basketball Association (ABA) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed the 'Chairman of the Boards' for his relentless rebounding, he was a three-time NBA Most Valuable Player and a 12-time NBA All-Star. Malone led the Philadelphia 76ers to an NBA championship in 1983, earning the NBA Finals MVP award in the process. He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2001, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest centers in basketball history.
