Michael Behe

Scientist

Michael Behe is an American biochemist, author, and prominent advocate for the pseudoscientific concept of intelligent design. He is a professor of biochemistry at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and a senior fellow of the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture. Behe is best known for his argument of irreducible complexity, which posits that some biological systems are too complex to have evolved from simpler predecessors through natural selection. His work, particularly his 1996 book 'Darwin's Black Box,' has been widely rejected by the scientific community but remains influential in creationist circles.
