Lincoln Diaz-Balart is a Cuban-American attorney and politician who served as a U.S. Representative for Florida from 1993 to 2011. A Republican, he was known for his staunchly anti-Castro stance and focus on foreign policy related to Cuba. Before his time in Congress, he served in both the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate. After retiring from Congress, he became a lobbyist and chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute.
