Laurent Fabius is a prominent French politician who has held several major governmental posts. He served as the Prime Minister of France from 1984 to 1986, the youngest person to hold the office under the Fifth Republic. Throughout his extensive career, he also served as President of the National Assembly and Minister of Foreign Affairs. As Foreign Minister, he played a key role in international climate negotiations, notably presiding over the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21).
