Steven Adler is an American musician best known as the original drummer and co-songwriter for the hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s. Adler was fired from the band due to his struggles with addiction in 1990, after which he was involved in several other projects, including his own bands Adler's Appetite and Adler. Overcoming significant personal challenges, he has remained a notable figure in the rock music scene and has periodically reunited with his former bandmates for performances. In 2012, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Guns N' Roses.
