Ricardo Flores Magón was a renowned Mexican anarchist, writer, and social reform activist who was a key intellectual figure in the Mexican Revolution. He founded the Mexican Liberal Party (PLM) and through his newspaper, Regeneración, he fiercely criticized the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz. His political ideals, known as Magonismo, advocated for the abolition of state power, private property, and organized religion in favor of self-governing communities. Exiled to the United States, he continued his revolutionary activities until his death in the Leavenworth federal penitentiary in Kansas.
