“If the universe is the answer, what is the question?”

“To a physicist, time is not a sequence of events but a dimension of the universe.”

“The universe contains stars, galaxies, and black holes; it also contains life, mind, and consciousness. The mystery is why.”

“It may seem bizarre, but in my opinion science offers a surer path to God than religion.”

“The very fact that the universe is comprehensible to us is a miracle.”

“It may be that our universe is merely one of a vast ensemble of universes, each with its own laws of physics.”

“The origin of life is one of the great unsolved mysteries of science.”

“There is no doubt that the 'fine-tuning' of the universe is the most compelling evidence for design.”

“I have the impression that the universe is a lot more clever than we are.”

“Somehow, the universe has engineered its own self-awareness.”

“A universe that came from nothing not only can happen, but it has to happen. It's a natural consequence of the laws of physics.”

“What is man? A machine, a crazy ape, a product of blind chance, or a being made in the image of God?”

“Life is the most extraordinary phenomenon in the known universe; but how did it come about?”

“The universe is not a meaningless accident; it is a coherent and orderly system.”

“All the big questions in science are ultimately religious questions.”

“To me, the multiverse is a metaphysical theory, not a scientific one.”

“Science can proceed only if the scientist adopts an essentially theological worldview.”

“The scientific quest is a journey into the unknown, an exploration of the mysteries of nature.”

“The laws of physics, it seems, are the clue to the universe.”
