Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme was an American criminal best known for her membership in the notorious Manson Family. She followed cult leader Charles Manson and lived with the group at Spahn Ranch. In 1975, Fromme gained international infamy for her attempted assassination of U.S. President Gerald Ford in Sacramento, California. Convicted of the crime, she served 34 years in prison before being released on parole in 2009.
