Judy Martz was an American politician and businesswoman who served as the 22nd Governor of Montana from 2001 to 2005. Before her political career, she was a member of the 1964 U.S. Olympic speed skating team. As the first and only woman to serve as governor of Montana, her tenure was marked by a focus on tax cuts and business development. After leaving office, she remained active in business and community affairs until her death from pancreatic cancer in 2017.
