John Laurence Miller is a retired American professional golfer and a renowned golf analyst. He was one of the top players in the world during the mid-1970s, winning two major championships: the 1973 U.S. Open and the 1976 Open Championship. Known for his exceptional iron play and a phenomenal 1973 season, he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1998. After his playing career, Miller became a widely recognized and often outspoken lead golf analyst for NBC Sports for nearly three decades.
