John Oates is a renowned American musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as one half of the iconic rock and soul duo, Hall & Oates. Alongside Daryl Hall, he co-wrote many of their biggest hits, including "Maneater," "Out of Touch," and "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)." Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014, his work with Hall & Oates has sold millions of records, defining the sound of '70s and '80s pop music.
