John Langdon was a prominent American politician and a Founding Father of the United States from New Hampshire. He was an early and ardent supporter of the Revolutionary War, using his personal wealth to help fund the American cause. Langdon served as a delegate to the Constitutional Convention, was one of the first two U.S. Senators from his state, and also held the office of Governor. His leadership was instrumental in New Hampshire's ratification of the U.S. Constitution, making it the ninth state required to put the government into effect.
