John Amery was a British fascist and pro-Nazi propagandist during the Second World War. He was the son of the prominent British statesman Leo Amery, which brought considerable attention to his actions. During the war, he made recruitment efforts and propaganda broadcasts from Germany aimed at British prisoners of war. After being captured, he pleaded guilty to eight charges of high treason and was executed in London in 1945.
