Jack Brickhouse was a legendary American sportscaster, best known for his long and illustrious career as the voice of the Chicago Cubs. For over four decades, his enthusiastic play-by-play calls became synonymous with Cubs baseball on WGN-TV. In addition to baseball, he also announced for the Chicago Bears and Chicago White Sox, and was honored with the Ford C. Frick Award by the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983. His iconic home run call, "Hey-hey!", remains one of the most memorable catchphrases in sports broadcasting history.
