Florence Ballard was an American singer and a founding member of the iconic Motown group, The Supremes. She sang on ten number-one hits with the group, including "Where Did Our Love Go" and "Stop! In the Name of Love". After being removed from the group in 1967, she attempted a solo career with ABC Records which was ultimately unsuccessful. Her tragic life and early death at the age of 32 have made her a compelling figure in music history.
