“Miffy is a very simple little bunny. Two dots and a cross for a mouth. With that, I have to show her feelings.”

“Each book starts with a small idea, a little seed. You have to be very careful with that seed; you have to cherish it.”

“My inspiration comes from everyday life. A tear, a smile, a little game.”
