Chögyam Trungpa was a Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and the founder of the Shambhala tradition. Escaping the Chinese invasion of Tibet in 1959, he later moved to the West, first to the UK and then to the United States. Trungpa was instrumental in introducing Tibetan Buddhism to a Western audience, establishing numerous meditation centers and Naropa University. His teachings, known for their directness and blend of traditional wisdom with modern psychological insights, continue to influence spiritual seekers worldwide.
