Chan Ho Park is a South Korean former professional baseball pitcher who broke barriers in Major League Baseball. He became the first South Korean-born player in MLB history when he debuted with the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1994. Throughout his 17-season MLB career, he played for several teams and was named an All-Star in 2001. After leaving MLB, he continued his career in Japan and his native South Korea before retiring as a celebrated pioneer for Asian athletes in American sports.
