Burt Ward is an American actor and activist, best known for his iconic portrayal of Robin in the 1960s television series Batman. His energetic and youthful depiction of the 'Boy Wonder' alongside Adam West's Batman made him a household name and a pop culture icon. After the series ended, Ward continued to act in various films and television shows, often reprising or referencing his famous role. In his later years, he has dedicated much of his time to animal activism, co-founding Gentle Giants Rescue and Adoptions.
