Alexander Fyodorovich Kerensky was a Russian lawyer and revolutionary who played a central role in the Russian Revolution of 1917. He served as the second Minister-Chairman of the Russian Provisional Government from July to November 1917, attempting to navigate the turbulent political landscape. Overthrown by the Bolsheviks in the October Revolution, he was forced into a life of exile. Kerensky eventually settled in the United States, where he spent his remaining decades as a writer and lecturer at Stanford University.
